Cosmopolitan launches new, improved make-up accessories range
Cosmopolitan’s new, improved range of cosmetic brushes and beauty accessories, ‘Perfect Finish’, has recently launched. This collection of products, created by the beauty team experts from the glossy magazine, includes: the Powder Brush, priced £5.95, an ultra soft brush made with natural hair for application of all types of powder; the Retractable Blush Brush, priced £6.95, which comes with a protective case to keep the brush in top condition; a Foundation Brush, priced £6.95, made with synthetic hair, gives even application of foundation and makes blending easy; the Kabuki Brush, priced £6.95, a smaller brush with tightly packed hair helping to apply the finest of powders in one clean sweep, which comes in its own travel case. The Cosmopolitan Beauty Accessories range includes 21 products covering make-up brushes, false nails, make-up sponges and beauty essentials. Stockists include Superdrug, Tesco and Debenhams.

Rimmel London has created a new mobile phone application - The Rimmel London Mobile Mirror Application - which allows the phone to be transformed into a handy mirror. This free application can be downloaded from the recently relaunched Rimmel Mobile site (www.rimmellondon.mobi) from 1 June.

Harrods celebrate Red Lipstick Day on 27 May
As the grand finale to Harrods Beauty Month in May, the department store is teaming up with the cancer support charity Look Good…Feel Better to offer a day of activity on 27 May centred around the ‘iconic’ red lipstick. Personal consultations will be available from top international and catwalk make-up artists including: Mary Greenwell for Chanel, Lynsey Alexander for MAC, Daniel Sandler for All For Eve, Jamie Coombes for Dior, Armand Beasley for Sisley, Fred Letaillieur for Giorgio Armani, Pat McGrath’s protégé Emma Kotch for Dolce & Gabbana, Claire Rae for Lancome, Will Malherbe for Bobbi Brown, Christian Ribot for Givenchy, Sara Hill for Laura Mercier, Blair Patterson for Estee Lauder and Kavita for Elizabeth Arden. ARTDECO launches into Fenwick (Brent Cross)
Last friday ARTDECO was launched at Fenwick (Brent Cross) by UK Brand Ambassador Tara Palmer-Tomkinson. ARTDECO’s make-up combines professional performance with innovation and luxury. There are over 1600 products within the range, including make-up and skincare. New make-up brand launches
The Bourjois Company introduce new make-up brand UNE to the market. The premise behind the brand is natural beauty with UNE aiming for 100% natural formulas where possible, using organic ingredients to create healthy, more environmentally-friendly products. Certified by ECOCERT, no synthetic colourings, parabens, synthetic fragrances, petrochemical oils or GMO's were used in the creation of the range. The debut UNE collection comprises 25 products and 148 shades. Key products include the Skin Glow Pencil which is priced at £6.99 and is available in four shades. 100% of the total ingredients are natural origin and 32.2% of total ingredients are from organic farming. The 100% Mineral Foundation is talc-free, creating a glow without a mask effect and is available in 9 shades priced at £9.99. Prices of the collection range from £4.99 for the Eye Pencil to £13.99 for the Soft Minerals Powder Foundation and Healthy-Glow Mineral Powder. UNE is available from May at Boots and Superdrug from September.
