Casting call for Autumn/Winter 2010 Comptoir des Cotonniers
French womenswear label, Comptoir des Cotonniers is offering people the chance to get in front of the lens and represent for Autumn/Winter 2010. This month they are launching a global search to seek interesting and individually styled, chic mothers and daughters, for the chance to go to Paris and appear within the next season’s fashion show plus the possibility of becoming the face of Comptoir des Cotonniers’ Autumn/Winter 2010 worldwide campaign. Safe Beauty Association appoints Jo Fairley & Sarah Stacey among others as council members

Les Soeurs Anglaises
Les Soeurs Anglaises offers a break abroad with the opportunity to learn a new creative skill in the countryside of South West France in the Perigord Vert region of Aquitaine. Three and five day textile, creative writing, and dance workshops led by internationally renowned artists and teachers are taught and under the Les Soeurs Anglaises banner, Katie Elliott Armitage opens her home to guests. The 2010 programme includes a 'Poetry in Motion' led by internationally respected poet Roger McGough, as well as screen-writing, crime, and creative writing courses. Winners of the P&G Beauty and Grooming Awards announced
The sixth annual P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards took place last night at Sketch. Created by P&G Beauty & Grooming, the awards were created to reward the talented and creative within the beauty and grooming world, and to further demonstrate their commitment to the UK beauty and grooming industry. 350 guests were in attendance including editors, publishers, and potential award-winning beauty and grooming journalist themselves. Also present were key industry figures and this year’s distinguished judging panel representing the world of beauty and grooming, style, photography, literature and the digital sector.
