Mama Mio behind music video raising funds for Look Good...Feel Better

Beauty specialist Mama Mio is behind ‘Check Me Out’, the debut single from Belle and The Buttons, which is raising money and awareness for the beauty industry charity Look Good...Feel Better, a charity offering hair and beauty advice and workshops for women undergoing cancer. Mama Mio will give £1.00 to Look Good...Feel better for every ‘Get Waisted’ sold through Debenhams and Mamamio.com through to 31 December 2010. The Get Waisted product highlighted in the music video is packed with nine ingredients designed to help combat fat deposits, tightening the stomach, reducing puffiness, and maximising lipolysis. Through Lipolysis is the body breaks down fat stored in fat cells; providing slim fat cells and a slimmer silhouette.

Gianfranco Ferré launches Autumn/Winter bag collection

Gianfranco Ferré is launching the new Atena bag for the Autumn/Winter collection. Featuring a double chain on the shoulder strap and a smart lock closure. The various models are available in the smooth or braided version, alternate chamois suede, patent and laminated leather. Beyond pumps and sandals, the main attraction of the season are the leather weave platform ankle boots with a narrow heel in hammered metal. Shoestudio.com is relaunching this month, aiming to be a one-stop shopping destination for all footwear. InStyle to launch new fashion hunt on 7 June

Fashion magazine InStyle is launching a new fashion hunt, which will take place over seven days from Monday 7 June. Readers across London have to find the location of an InStyler who will have a hamper of goodies to give out to the first people to find them. Based in a different location over the course of seven working days, the InStyler will have designer fashion and beauty items at each spot. Each day will have a different theme and prizes range from beauty hampers, designer handbags, cult label jeans, jewellery and vouchers to spend in store. Readers have to find the location by following Twitter and checking out instyle.co.uk. They must also come along with a copy of the new July issue of InStyle, which has Gwen Stefani on the cover and comes with a free Moschino shopper. Brands including Selfridges, my-wardrobe.com, Matthew Williamson, Givenchy, Missoni, DKNY and Erikson Beamon are all confirmed to take part. The July issue of InStyle is on sale now.

John Galliano announces Fashion Fringe semi-finalists

Fashion Fringe at Covent Garden has announced John Galliano’s semi-finalists for 2010: Alice Palmer, Charlotte Linton, Cornel Bolt, Corrie Nielsen, Danielle Windsor, Edward Finney, Fjodor Golan Frydman, Jade Kang, Ju-Hong Chang and SILVINAMAESTRO. The 10 Semi-Finalists took part in a technical day at the London College Fashion on Tuesday 1 June.
