The Drapers Footwear Awards 2010 winners


The best of the UK's footwear retailers, brands and students were recognised at the Drapers Footwear Awards last week. The awards bring together around 400 industry leaders to celebrate and recognise the achievements of 13 footwear retailers, brands and students in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The Awards included comedian Rufus Hound hosting the evening and presenting the awards. Designer Terry de Havilland picked up the Lifetime Achievement Award, Schuh won the Multiple Retailer of the Year award, Brand of the Year went to Ugg Australia and etailer of the Year was won by Schuh. Winners revealed at the inaugural Quintessentially Awards

The inaugural Quintessentially Awards in association with The British Virgin Islands took place last night at Freemasons’ Hall, London. The awards, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, represent the luxury market across the fashion, travel and lifestyle sectors as voted for by Quintessentially members. Winners included Pefume House of the Year - Hermés, as well as Interior Designer of the Year - Candy & Candy. To celebrate the inaugural awards people flew from all over the world including representatives from Clinique la Prairie in Switzerland (Winners of Retreat Spa of the Year), Simon Hammerstein from The Box- New York (International Nightclub or the Year) and 3 Michelin starred chef Heinz Beck from La Pergola who was nominated for International Restaurant of the Year. Boucheron launches into The Wonder Room at Selfridges

Boucheron has launched into Selfridges, London. Boucheron will be located in the Wonder Room on the ground floor, a 19,000 square-foot space that is dedicated to luxury items, fine jewellery, watches, wine and other precious gifts. Boucheron will present collections from the jewellery lines including: ‘Delilah’, ‘Ava’, ‘Bestiary’, ‘Trouble’, ‘Quatre’ and the ‘Ma Jolie’ collection which launched in May 2010. Boucheron's timepieces will also be available which includes the two new feminine cocktail watches ‘Ma Jolie’ and ‘Ava Déco’ as well as the new limited edition Reflet XL Chateau Latour, from the end of June. To complete the displayed collections, customers will be offered to experience the same bespoke service that Boucheron provides within its boutiques all over the world.
