100% Norway to exhibit at this year´s London Design Festival

100% Norway is back this year, with talent from some of the best Norwegian design companies and manufacturers taking part in the show at this year’s London Design Festival which is taking place from 19 - 26 September 2010. Highlights at this year’s 100% Norway include new launches from both established designers and emerging talents; several manufacturers that are new to the UK, and a selection of ceramics, glassware, lighting and wall coverings. Anderssen & Voll will show various new pieces including a chair for LK Hjelle and blankets for Røros Tweed – both global launches in London – and Andreas Engesvik will be unveiling a new desk for Fjordfiesta.
Rising stars include Hallgeir Homstvedt with a brand new version of his mirror bowls, Øyvind Wyller, who will be exhibiting a new version of his Sauherad table and chairs, and Daniel Rybakken with his innovative mirror concept. 100% Norway is to present two manufacturers that are new to the UK market. Stryn Møbelindustri produces elegant wood tables and chairs, designed by the established Norwegian, Olav Eldøy. VAD introduces with its Nord chair and sidetable in Norwegian pine designed by the Bergen-based duo, Knudsen & Hindenes.100% Norway is having a retro renaissance with Variér reissuing its classic Variable Balans kneelon posture-correcting seats, popular in the 1980s, and the iconic Ekstrem chair in new finishes.
