The Scottish Fashion Awards 2010 in association with Vogue.com took place last night at Glasgow’s Science Centre. Global fashion industry figures and judges such as Dolly Jones editor of Vogue.com, Hilary Alexander fashion director of The Daily Telegraph, Tessa Hartmann, Founder and Producer of The Scottish Fashion Awards and co-founder of The Scottish Fashion Council (pictured here with Jonathan Sauders and Dolly Jones) and Brian Duffy President of Ralph Lauren Europe, were all in attendance to see the homegrown talent honoured for their achievements. Some of designers on display included Scotland’s Graeme Black and Jonathan Saunders; rising stars Holly Fulton, Louise Gray and Rachel Barrett; accessories designers Keira Thorley and Bebaroque; Pam Hogg; and home-grown beauty Lisa Omand, who took the Scottish Model of the Year crown. Completing the judging line-up were: Nathalie Colin – Creative Director of Swarovski; Lucy Yeomans – editor of Harpers Bazaar; Amanda Wakeley – Designer; Professor Wendy Dagworthy – Head of Fashion and Textiles at RCA, London; Brigitte Stepputis – Head of Couture at Vivienne Westwood; Richard Walker – Acting Editor in Chief of Herald Group; and Paula Reed, style director of Grazia.
