New label Mercy Delta was founded in 2010 by fashion agent Katie Lightfoot and designer Winnie Lee. Their aim was to create a range of luxurious and adaptable printed scarves wraps and stoles. The result is a diverse range of some of new scarves, stoles and wraps that work with multiple outfits, for every occasion and every season. Each piece is designed by Katie and Winnie and handmade by their production teams in India and Greece. The collection is divided into four main themes...the ‘South of France travel collection’, which includes Mediterranean inspired colours and prints, the ‘English Travel Collection’ with a traditional slant on liberty-inspired floral and peaches and cream prints, the ‘African Travel Collection’ featuring animal and bold block designs inspired by the islands of Zanzibar and Madagascar. Finally the ‘Italian Travel Collection’ features classic plain stoles and shawls as well as a delicate lace embroidered ‘Venice’ shawl. Retail prices range from £91.00 to £248.00. The scarves go into Harvey Nichols in mid-November and ASOS.com in January, they will be available in all other stockists from the end of November. Stockists will include Coco Marie, The Dressing Room, Escape, Gatsby & Daisy, Covet, My Luxury Wardrobe, Room 7, Benna.com, Trilogy and MyWardrobe.com.
