The first National Make-Up Awards for Make-Up Artists took place yesterday at the Professional Beauty Show in ExCel London. The ceremony gives recognition to the UK’s leading Make-Up Artists in all areas of the industry, including Beauty, Film, TV, Editorial, Advertising, Studio, Retail and Salon. The judging panel was made up of experts including Jackie Tyson, Daniel Sandler, Carol Churchill, Linda Key, Sandra Exelby and Christine Vidler.The overall winner was Professional Make-Up Artist - Lan Nguyen. Lan has worked on editorials and shows for London Fashion Week with clients such as L’Oreal, Toni&Guy, Wella, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Grazia, ELLE, Telegraph, Express newspapers and with various celebrities including Sabrina Washington, Kimberley Wyatt and Michelle Williams.
