Fashion label Marni is to introduce a debut childrenswear collection in July; Marni Children. This new collection has been designed by Consuelo Castiglioni and is aimed at girls between the ages of two and 12.
Key Winter pieces include hooded parkas with checked wool linings, dotted puffer coats and bi-color jackets; good girl coats in wool gabardine or felted jacquard wool. The Marni signature doll print is featured on polka-dotted rain capes and striped jersey T-shirts and dresses. Dresses and tops are featured in exclusive Marni prints: hearts, florals, polka-dots or in contrasting colours, while comfortable canvas and corduroy skirts and trousers complete the range. Fabrics range from cotton, silk crepe, canvas, wool, washed taffetas and cashmere. The color palette contains tones of beige, green, brown, grey, navy and cream with flashes of pink and red.
The new Marni Childrenswear will be available from July in Marni stores and at www.marni.com, with prices ranging from £60.00 to £400.00.
