Fashion Fringe, the platform which supports emerging fashion talent, has today announced the call for entries to the 2011 programme. Fashion Fringe is a business platform for aspiring fashion designers, which launches and supports new British fashion talent. Fashion Fringe is also helps up-and-coming fashion talent via its mentoring scheme involving the industry experts as advisers.
There is a new panel of five judges this year who represent the full spectrum of fashion from buying to technical design. The judges for 2011 are:

Design: Roland Mouret (pictured here)
Retail: Anne Pitcher, Selfridges
Technical: Roy Peach, London College of Fashion
Media: Bel Jacobs, Metro
The designer selected as winner by the judging panel in September will gain a two year development package, which includes a mixture of cash, business advice, mentoring and an equipped studio at Somerset House in which to set-up and sustain their business. Fashion Fringe has also announced Very.co.uk, the online department store, as an official sponsor of the scheme. Very.co.uk will work with Fashion Fringe to mentor designers and help with the challenge of balancing creativity and commercial success. Fashion Fringe is open for entries until 4 May.
