Creative consortium FARBLACK has agreed to purchase London’s Fashion Business Club (FBC) and has named Courtney Blackman as its managing director. Following the acquisition, the FBC will rebrand as The Industry from July.The next meeting will take place on 27 July at Swarovski CRYSTALLIZED™ (see DIARYdates) and will feature British singer and songwriter Kate Nash interviewed by fashion stylist Rebekah Roy. The July meeting will also be the official launch of The Industry’s new website which will enhance the membership experience, providing The Industry members with a platform to promote brands.
The Industry operates as a members organisation, allowing for select media to attend events. Members include home-grown and internationals, well-known and up-and-coming designers, journalists, photographers, stylists, buyers, brand managers, make-up artists, PRs, brand managers and more.
