For Autumn Winter 2010 Clemency-London has been inspired by Alison Clemency-Buddenhagen’s love of David Bowie, traditional Japanese kimonos and the glam rock era of the 1970’s. Moulded Bowie sleeves and sculptured leather shoulders flow into elegant chiffon dresses, adorned with Japanese inspired details. Tactile fabrics are twinned with boned leather, kimono sleeves drape with a casual elegance while frayed edges suggest an element of glam rock couture.
