LA based knitwear label 360 Sweater is bringing its knitwear designs to the UK for Autumn/Winter 2010. Soft volume, draping and updated silhouettes stand out in a palette of rich colors. Creative Director and Designer, Leslie Gifford, takes everyday essentials and puts her own spin on them; ponchos have a hood and shell buttons, basic cardigans has an updated boxier fit, and sweaters have surprising, yet subtle details like the newly patented ‘Pocket Sockets’ which is essentially a glove built into a sweater pocket. Details in the textures, ties, stitching and seams give 360Sweater a unique look combining California cool with New York sophistication. In addition to the cashmere and cashmere blends, the collections are full of soft wool blends, silks, ombre effects, and cotton blends. For Autumn/Winter 2010 Leslie has also introduced and designed her first accessory collection; comprising a luxurious collection of scarves, wraps, blankets, gloves and hats in cashmere and cashmere blend yarns.
