New beauty service apothecary and retail emporium launches

Filthy Gorgeous is a new beauty service apothecary and retail emporium launched with flagship openings in Glasgow and London. Combining a menu of ‘quick but slick’ essential services with a mix of beauty discoveries and accessories, the Filthy Gorgeous two flagship salons both boast a hand-picked team of professionals who will get to use a variety of skills and work across nails, hair and make-up. Filthy Gorgeous London is the outcome of a collaboration between Adam Dargan, Clair Rose and Noelle Shine – three industry experts and colleagues who could see the gap in the market for an expert, fun, friendly, and accessible beauty service experience concept delivered in a stylish environment. Having worked on and dreamed up the initial idea, Adam and Clair approached Noelle, and from there the concept grew in to the beauty services and niche beauty retail emporium. Noelle then brokered the deal with debenhams to launch in two flagship locations. Clair Rose - sales and education director and started her career in retail fragrance and cosmetics before being head-hunted to join Pure Beauty where she worked alongside Lisa Eldridge. From there she went on to work for Pout as national sales & training director, growing the brand from two to 20 accounts. More recently Clair has taken similar roles at Bliss and nails inc increasing turnover and productivity, before leaving to pursue her filthy gorgeous dream. Adam Dargan - creative director is a make-up artist and product development expert who created many of the hero products for Pout Cosmetics. His knowledge and experience covers markets in the UK, North America, Australia and South-East Asia. In addition, he has developed new concepts for a number of successful brands including Frederic Fekkai and Topshop and collaborated with 19 Management to create new celebrity and lifestyle brands for their high-profile clients. Noelle Shine – managing director has 25 years of experience within the retail and beauty industry, working at senior level brand management for household names such as Estée Lauder, Calvin Klein and Jo Malone. In 2007 she founded Palette Beauty, a beauty brand consultancy that develops exclusive strategies and business plans to successfully launch, and develop sales and distribution for beauty brands into in the uk market. The Filthy Gorgeous philosophy revolves around the ‘getting ready ritual’, providing a variety of bespoke treatments and fixes that incorporate the ‘one-chair’ element, so girls can receive as many or as few services as they want, all without leaving the comfort of their own seat. Included in their launch services menu are nail-overs, minx nails and bespoke nail art; brow shaping and lash tinting; airbrush temporary tattoos, make-up and even hair – create highlights or get a root touch-up – as well as quick fix hair treatments like 'freshen & curl', 'fresh & straight' and 'colour-matched extensions'. Filthy Gorgeous has launched exclusively at Debenhams in London and Glasgow.
