Fearne Cotton hosted the annual Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards for the fifth year running last night. Sponsored by Avon, the event took place at Banqueting House and was attended by guests including Nicola Roberts, Kelly Brook, Christine Bleakley, Dizzee Rascal and Westlife. Among the winners on the night were Nicola Roberts, who was named ‘Ultimate Fashionista’, and Crystal Renn was honoured with ‘Ultimate Catwalk Queen’. The awards also celebrate stories and achievements of the nation’s real-life women, including Katie Piper who won the ‘Ultimate Editor’s Choice’ award. Katie’s bravery after suffering a horrific acid attack, and her passion to give other burns victims a lifeline through her charity (The Katie Piper Foundation), is testament to her will and determination. The real-life winners were selected by a panel of judges including Cosmopolitan editor Louise Court, Cosmopolitan’s agony aunt Irma Kurtz, Karren Brady, Kimberley Walsh, Reggie Yates and Mel B.
