Winners announced for ELLE magazine's first ever Beauty Awards

The first ever ELLE Beauty Awards took place yesterday hosted by publisher, Rita Lewis. Products were nominated by 70 beauty and fashion insiders and winners were voted for by ELLE readers on ELLEuk.com. Experts included hairstylist Sam McKnight, make-up artists Jemma Kidd and Ruby Hammer; facialists Sarah Chapman and Amanda Lacey; Space.NK founder Nicky Kinnaird as well as celebrities Rihanna and Sienna Miller.

An award ceremony, held at The Club at The Ivy, honoured the 15 winning and 12 highly commended products which included Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, Morroccanoil Treatment, Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara and Chanel No19.

The winning products can be seen in ELLE’s December issue, on shelves on Wednesday 10 November.
