Online fashion magazine Frontline Fashion to launch this month in aid of Haiti
Fashion, beauty and culture online magazine Frontline Fashion (www.frontlinef.com) is due to launch on 20 December 2010 along with Frontline Fashion’s first range of stylish clothes, known as ‘Zanmi’. Frontline Fashion is the idea of an experienced fashion and beauty PR turned entrepreneur who, after spending time volunteering in a disaster zone, realised that everybody can be ‘style conscious with a social conscience.’ Frontline Fashion sets out to provide the latest news on lifestyle trends, jet-set destinations and catwalk creations and, through the Zanmi range, to raise awareness about humanitarian issues and funds to support dedicated projects. Sitting alongside the online magazine, the Zanmi range (‘Zanmi’ is the Haitian Creole word for ‘friends’) is a platform to show how style can contribute to society in a positive way. To begin with, simple tees and totes will be available for purchase through the website, with the first full clothing range set to be released in March 2011. Frontline Fashion will donate 50% of all profits towards its foundation projects, which, to begin with, will be the construction of a dormitory and an orphanage in Haiti.
