Jimmy Choo announces new collection for men to launch next year

Jimmy Choo has announced the launch of men’s shoes for AW11. The collection will be presented to the press during Milan Fashion Week in January 2011. The collection includes dress shoes, moccasins, casual biker boots, trainers and evening slippers. Jimmy Choo men’s shoes will be launched exclusively in a highly selective distribution of the most influential men’s specialty and department stores in the world, in addition to the jimmychoo.com website. The initial distribution will be limited to approximately 30 doors worldwide. The collection will be produced in Italy. The Jimmy Choo brand previously had a small men’s collection which was discontinued in 2002 to focus on its growing women’s collection. More recently, the Jimmy Choo for H&M flash lifestyle collection in 2009 had a strong component for men’s shoes, ready to wear and accessories. The men’s collections for H&M sold out globally within a week and showed that there is significant demand for Jimmy Choo men’s products.
