glamour.com unveils re-design

Condé Nast Digital Britain has announced the brand new glamour.com site, with the updated version released to the web shortly. The relaunch of glamour.com offers large scale visuals, an e-commerce element, selective content. Editorially, the site is presented through seven channels – Do’s and Don’ts, Shopping, Fashion, Beauty and Hair, Celebrity, Blogs, and the Magazine. The homepage itself benefits from a less cluttered design mirroring the print brand and allows the editorial to shine, accompanied by large format visuals. Fashion is one of the key focuses for the site, and will also include a new ShopStyle service, offering an e-commerce element to glamour.com. This channel will incorporate the Stylefinder Blog, Get the Look weekly ‘cut out’ trend product suggestions, industry experts responding to users fashion SOS queries, Street Style Blog, Catwalk galleries, and seasonal special channels for London Fashion Weeks. Beauty and Hair is central to the glamour experience and this channel will incorporate an exciting new tool allowing step by step ‘before and after’ visuals for make-up and hair, as well as YouTube and This Morning star Lauren Luke sharing her tips and how-to’s via a new regular blog. There will also be daily blogs from the magazine beauty team, beauty trends, fast beauty top ten, hair trends and hair inspiration to complete this section.
