Mary Portas launches new website
Retail guru Mary Portas has announced the launch of a new consumer-driven website, maryportas.com, which launched today (28 May). The new site, Mary’s first permanent home on the web, is a comprehensive resource for both shoppers and shopkeepers keen to improve, comment or learn about the retail experience. Through the site’s lead feature ‘Search for a Shop’, users can upload, rate and review shops from around the world – creating a comprehensive database of consumer insight into our high streets. This searchable directory lets users read real reviews from like-minded shoppers, and allows disgruntled customers, or customers impressed by service to make their voice heard. As a community-driven website, maryportas.com will also create a destination for conversations on shopping, fashion and life. In addition, users will be able to follow Mary’s latest projects, television campaigns, journalism, and news Mary’s Living and Giving shops for Save the Children, as well as live agency news.
