Bertie opens two new London stores this month
Fashion footwear brand Bertie is opening two contemporary flagship stores in Central London following the acquisition of the brand by The Dune Group last year. Opening this month on South Molton Street and in Covent Garden, these stores will showcase the Bertie collection. A team of designers have revitalised and refreshed the brand, with with distressed leathers, stacked heels and cleated soles. The wedged brogue and creped sole hiking boot have been contemporised with a more androgynous feel. The new advertising campaign reflects the identity of the brand through the use of monochrome photography and styled by Bertie’s in-house design team. The new concept store is a mix of metropolitan style within the framework of an East End loft apartment. Features include a denim wall, show lace chandelier and wrapped leather cash desk which provide a unique environment for the new Autumn/Winter 2010 collection.
