Save the Children launch Killer
Heels to stamp out Killer Diseases Appeal

Save the Children is calling for donations of ‘Killer Heels to help stamp out Killer Diseases’. Every year more than 9 million children around the world die from preventable diseases. Save the Children is making an appeal to the fashion industry and the British public to donate killer heels and help stamp out these killer diseases such as pneumonia, malaria, diarrhoea and measles. Designers, fashion brands and celebrities are backing the appeal by donating iconic and show stopping killer heels. Throughout November and December Save the Children will appeal to the British public to join in by donating sparkly and glitzy shoes of the season to their local Save the Children. The shoes will be displayed at ‘Mary’s Living & Giving shops for Save the Children’ and then auctioned off in December to raise money.
