Luxury ethical exhibition EcoLuxe London
to take place this month during LFW

EcoLuxe London, the ethical luxury fashion exhibition, will take place over the 20-21 February with twice the amount of designers than at the launch last year (see DIARYdates). This bi-annual event, which coincides with London Fashion Week, was created by a group of ethical designers and promotes high end, environmentally friendly fashion designers and brands.

EcoLuxe London will also launch the 'The Textile and Apparel Apprenticeship Programme in London' at the event. The Centre for Sustainable Fashion will be taking five stands to showcase its latest up and coming designers. Professional hair and skincare brand Aveda will be hosting a pampering station during the EcoLuxe London event.

Held at London's No1 Aldwych Hotel, opposite London Fashion Week at Somerset House, EcoLuxe London will be open to press and fashion buyers who are looking for luxury brands with a conscience. Among the ethical designers and brands showing at EcoLuxe London this month are: By Stamo womenswear, Chocolate Couture jewellery, Marco Tripoli casualwear for men and women and accessories, Lowie Knitwear, Kiss Me Deadly lingerie, Eloise Grey outerwear and bridal brand Tammam.

All the brands involved are all 100% ethical, not only in the production process of their designs but also with an overall responsibility to green issues. EcoLuxe London is a biannual green event promoting leading ethical luxury brands and designers. From this year's venue, voted 'Green Hotel of the Year' 2009, to the bust forms used to display the merchandise being 95% eco-friendly and even the signage made from 100% recycled paper.
